Welcome to the official accommodation website for the British Society of Gerontology (BSG) Conference 2024 to be held at Newcastle University on 3rd to 5th July 2024. The website also covers any accommodation you might need if you are attending the Emerging Researchers in Ageing Pre-Conference event on 2nd July 2024. We’ve snapped up some special room rates throughout the city for your stay. Anyone with disabilities may prefer to stay at the Sandman Hotel as its closer to the conference venue.
You’ll need a credit or debit card to secure your booking, your card details will be held as a guarantee only to secure the booking. No payment will be taken at the point of booking, payment will be taken upon arrival / departure of your stay. If you need to pay in advance using a company card, please contact the hotel in advance and ask to pre-pay. Please review the hotel policy for your chosen hotel before booking.
In addition to the hotels on the website, Newcastle also has two Travel Lodges in the city centre and the Albatross Hostel which are worth investigating if you are on a tight budget. The University of Newcastle does not rent out student accommodation for conferences.
